Bojo Beach

The Bojo White Sand Beach is located next to the Densu Delta Ramsar site. Bojo beach presents its visitors with a series of exciting and adventurous experiences that will keep them coming back every time the opportunity presents itself. At the beach one can cruise on the water at a fee ranging from GhC 5 depending how long the cruise is for. Just like all major beaches in the country, Bojo has at post young and energetic lifeguards who are very skillful and attentive. Other activities that one can partake in at the Bojo beach include sand bathing, beach ball, volley ball and going on a romantic sightseeing with a partner.

To get to the Bojo beach one need to get to the Kaneshie station where you will find a station that has Aplaku bound vehicles (tro-tro). This vehicle will pass by the Bojo beach junction where you can alight. There are yellow direction signs put up by the Bojo beach management help it patrons. Follow the signs on foot through the Bojo village. The Bojo beach is just behind this little village. It is recommended that visitors try as much as possible to chatter a taxi from Kasoa to get to the beach for more convenience.

For visitors who are visiting the facility with their own transport, take a drive on the Kaneshie Kasoa road pass the Weija junction. Look out for the Police barrier which is a few meters ahead. On the left of the police barrier is the Apalku Junction. From there, are yellow Bojo sign posts put up by the management of Bojo. Drive along the untarred road till you get to the big Bojo car park that welcomes all visitors anytime. The best times to visit beaches such as Bojo are on holidays and weekends.

Tuesdays are not recommended days to visit Ghanaian beaches because it is a day traditionally regarded as the resting day for the sea. The Bojo Beach has very nice cuisine and shops where visitors can obtain food. Therefore visitors are not allowed to enter the premises with their own food. The beach has a conference location where individuals can host their parties, wedding parties, bashes and other entertainment celebrations. For reservations or enquiries call 024 232 5169.
